Seckel synd rome is also known as Harper syndrome, avian dwarfism or short stature with microcephaly. It is classified as a so-called primary dwarfism. This disease is a congenital defect and can occur in both boys and girls. It is inherited in an autosomal recessive manner involving a single gene mutation.
