26 October saw the launch of the next phase of the nationwide educational campaign "I have S", in which medical students will have the opportunity to learn about the reality of multiple sclerosis patients. The initiative is aimed directly at future doctors so that they can experience the problems faced by S patients.
"Once again with the 'I have S' campaign, we want to reach out to medical students who will come into contact with S patients when they start their medical practice. It is important that they then know how to talk about the disease. That is why an integral part of the campaign is the 'MamS' simulation, which allows them to understand the symptoms of the disease and the everyday difficulties,

The Mam S campaigns enable young people to learn more about multiple sclerosis in a
in a non-scientific way. "Thanks to the MamS simulation, students can 'feel' the world with the senses of a patient, which will allow them to better understand patients in the future, as well as facilitate their contact with families and relatives ," says Izabela Czarnecka, President of the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society, which supports the Mam S campaign.
During the first stage of the 'Mam S' educational campaign, held in spring 2010, educational actions illustrating the problem of multiple sclerosis were carried out at medical universities in Warsaw, Poznań, Białystok, Krakow and Lublin. All were very popular and well received by students. The MamS simulation computer stands were visited by more than 1 000 people. During the entire campaign, hundreds of brochures and leaflets on multiple sclerosis and the activities of the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society were distributed, as well as CDs with the MamS simulation. The great interest in the campaign influenced the decision to continue the campaign at further
5 universities educating future doctors.
