Before the start of the school year, parents, in addition to buying the necessary textbooks and utensils, need to provide their children with the right gym attire. One sports company conducted a survey among PE teachers to identify the most important features of P.E. sportswear.
Students on the side of the sports tracksuit
68% of gymnastics teachers surveyed admitted that pupils practise in sports tracksuits in their classes (only 46% said they were required to do so). Pupils should be equipped with sports tracksuits, they are essential, especially for outdoor activities when the air temperature is less than 10°C, says one of the gymnasts surveyed.
School backpack
When it came to the most important feature of a sports backpack, the PE teachers surveyed were very much in agreement. 85% of those asked were of the opinion that wearing comfort was the most important feature in a school backpack.
The backpack should have a hardened back and wide straps for maximum comfort. 13% of respondents paid attention to the right number of compartments in the backpack, and it should have separate space for books and notebooks, sportswear and a second breakfast.
