In Poland, according to statistics, more than 3 million people may suffer from diabetes. However, not all patients suffer from exactly the same disease, as there are several types of diabetes. The basic division includes type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes, but in practice several other different types of diabetes can be described.
