Urinary tract inflammation is manifested by: burning, pain when urinating, a feeling of pushing, frequent urination.

The most common treatment for inflammation is antibiotic therapy. Fosfomycin, nitrofurantoin, ciprofloxacin, amoxicillin with clavulanic acid are recommended. Asymptomatic bacteraemia does not require treatment.
It is considered that hormone replacement therapy is not an effective method to protect against infection.
