More than one parent has probably heard of IS disorders. What are IS disorders? How can they be diagnosed? Are they a cause for concern?

If your child is characterised by over- or under-sensitivity to sensory stimuli, cannot focus attention, has problems with motor coordination - contact a certified IS trainer.

Where to look for help?

If you think your child is suffering from an IS spectrum disorder, see a certified therapist who will verify whether this is in fact the case. If it is confirmed that your child has an IS spectrum disorder, the therapist will help select an appropriate programme that will allow your child to practice certain responses. Remember - IS spectrum disorder does not mean your child is sick or different. He or she is just as healthy and wonderful as other children - he or she just needs more time for certain activities.
