Schizoaffective disorder is actually a combination of two theoretically completely separate problems, namely schizophrenia and affective (mood) disorders. It is not at all easy to recognise this entity, precisely because of its considerable similarity to other disorders. So how can one tell if a patient is suffering from schizoaffective disorder and what is the treatment?
