A deposit system is a mechanism to promote the recycling and reuse of packaging. It has been in operation in Poland since October 2025. From 1 October, beverages in packaging covered by the system, i.e. those with a clear deposit mark with the deposit amount, began to appear in shops. The turning point, however, is the new year, where the number of such packs has clearly increased. What is worth knowing about the deposit system?
