Toddlers have a natural need for expression, so they enjoy taking part in activities that allow them to express themselves. How do we choose the ones that will not only be an opportunity to have fun, but will additionally develop the child's talent?

from children's stories. Toddlers are also very sensitive to the concept of good and evil, and they often identify with fairy tale characters and go through all their adventures with them. A place that develops children's imagination and creative thinking is certainly the theatre. Trips to the plays and discussions about them are both valuable. But nothing can replace the pleasure of getting a child directly involved in a performance. Taking part in rehearsals, making scenery or costumes teaches the little one discipline, responsibility and teamwork. Through the process of painstaking preparation, our children overcome the discouragement of hard work, the results of which give double satisfaction. - Plays and theatricals are often used in language learning for children. Through frequent repetition of lines, the toddlers learn correct and clear pronunciation, they also practise their foreign accent," says Grzegorz Grabiec of the language school, "In addition, role play training stimulates the child's visual and auditory memory and consolidates language skills already acquired.

Every performance in which the child plays a role is an undoubted success. The role forces the child to be fully focused, concentrated and in control. Exercises in facial expressions and gestures, which allow the child to represent the feelings of the character, have a positive impact on the development of the emotional and emotional sphere and reduce the risk of behavioural inhibitions in the future.

Music soothes the savage

Another element of art education that has a positive effect on the child's development is music activities. Whether listening to music, singing or playing instruments, it activates the connections between nerve cells in the toddler's brain, stimulating them to work. Musical exercises allow the child to operate not only with sound, but also with words, dance and images. It develops the child's creative skills and creativity, the main features of his or her intelligence. Appropriate music increases motivation, the desire to learn and delays the symptoms of tiredness. It is a good idea for soothing sounds to accompany the child while he or she is falling asleep, playing or doing homework. Music is often used to enrich a child's learning experience, for example in foreign languages. - The toddler will learn new phrases or vocabulary much faster by picking them up in songs and repeating them with the teacher, classmates or parents - emphasises Grzegorz Grabiec from the language school - Diverse and dynamic forms of learning make the child less bored during lessons and more eager to participate in them.
