Toddlers have a natural need for expression, so they enjoy taking part in activities that allow them to express themselves. How do we choose the ones that will not only be an opportunity to have fun, but will additionally develop the child's talent?

Parents should familiarise their child with music even before it is born. It is worth ensuring that he or she is familiar with all genres, from classical music to dynamic rock'n'roll, without limiting his or her knowledge solely to our tastes. How do we know if a toddler is a virtuoso? For a good start, he should learn how to play the simplest instruments: drums, acoustic bells or maracas. Only later, when we notice that music arouses his interest can we enrol him in a music school.

Paint your world

Technical or drawing classes allow the child to fully express his or her attitude to the world. Art lessons benefit his/her manual development, eye-hand coordination and sense of aesthetics. In addition, all creative activities stimulate the child's creativity and inventiveness. They allow him to experiment freely with materials and tools, gaining new artistic experiences. It is therefore worth ensuring that he becomes familiar with all the techniques used in painting or sculpture - even in their simplest form. Children love playing with paints, charcoals or pastels. We can use plasticine or salt mass to create certain shapes. Exercises that encourage the child's creativity bring relaxation and tranquillity and allow the child to discover his or her own possibilities. Small successes, on the other hand, motivate them to continue working.
