Winter is a beautiful time of year, but in order to enjoy it to the full, we need to take good care of ourselves before the cold snaps in and the flu or other illnesses take hold.

In particular, it is worth remembering to lead a hygienic lifestyle - adequate sleep, proper diet and plenty of exercise - and to have a positive attitude to life - avoiding stress.

We should get a minimum of eight hours of sleep every day, and in the case of children, a correspondingly longer period depending on their age, so as not to weaken immunity.

Our diet should be varied, with fruit and vegetables added to every meal. And don't forget the increased need for carbohydrates. It is also worth supporting ourselves with natural remedies, home remedies as simple as a concoction of garlic, honey and lemon. It has a great supportive effect and is 100% natural, without artificial additives that weaken our health.

It is a good idea to start each day with morning gymnastics, preferably to the rhythm of your favourite songs, which will put you in a good mood. It is better to get up early enough to start the day calmly and with a smile, and to eat a wholesome breakfast that will give you energy for the rest of the day. Be sure to have whole-grain bread, whole-grain cereals.
