Winter is a beautiful time of year, but in order to enjoy it to the full, we need to take good care of ourselves before the cold snaps in and the flu or other illnesses take hold.

During the day, depending on your ability, it is worth spending at least half an hour outdoors. When the snow falls, we have plenty of opportunities to choose winter sports that suit us. When winter snows, it is a good idea to walk at least a little, e.g. get off the bus a stop earlier. For the more ambitious, Nordic walking.

Spend the weekends as a family and in sporting activities, encouraging the children to get the exercise they need. In this way, we will all strengthen our immunity, but also get closer to each other and spend time together. In winter, go with your child to the ice rink and try your hand at sliding, or to the ski slope, or simply to the nearest hill near the house to go tobogganing. It is worth going out for walks in winter, especially when the sun is shining, to benefit from its beneficial properties for our bones and mood. By taking care of ourselves and showing us how to live well and take care of our health, we teach our children to take care of themselves in this difficult time of year, winter, when the days are short and cold and we spend more time indoors. In such conditions, it is especially easy for children to catch infections, and a weakened body reacts more violently to viruses and bacteria.

Let us therefore take care of ourselves and our children, and remember how much we can help ourselves in a simple way, simply by leading a calm and regular lifestyle, supported by natural means.
