It is a single or multiple spot, clearly demarcated from the surrounding area, caused by taking certain drugs. Each time after exposure to the drug, the skin lesion develops in the same place.
Neonatal acne - also known as neonatal toxic erythema - is a common skin condition, occurring in almost half of all newborns born at term. It has a benign course and resolves spontaneously.
