Many parents think it is impossible for a newborn baby to have one or two teeth. Nothing could be further from the truth!
Teeth are usually located on the lower gums and have small roots. They differ from the actual baby teeth. In many cases, they are very fragile and wobbly and therefore have to be extracted. The decision to extract them is taken by the doctor and the procedure is carried out in hospital during the first day of life of the newborn baby. This is done for the safety of our baby. If the tooth were to fall out and enter the respiratory tract, it could endanger the health and life of the newborn. It is also important to check that the baby's teeth do not damage the tongue or gums.
