Cancer is a dangerous condition for many different reasons. One such reason is that cancer cells can simply deceive the human immune system - and they can do this, unfortunately, in many different ways. Scientists are carrying out a great deal of research into how cancer cells evade immune cells - because by discovering these mechanisms, it is possible to implement further therapeutic methods. Many of these studies - happily - contribute a great deal to modern cancer treatment.
