Exudative otitis media is a disease with few symptoms. Many patients are not aware that they are suffering from it.
In the course of this disease, there is an accumulation of fluid in the tympanic cavity. This is one part of the ear that is bounded on the inside by the eardrum and on the outside by the bony wall. A distinction can currently be made between exudative otitis of a chronic nature, lasting less than 10 days and more than three months. Causes of otitis exudativa include allergies, hypertrophy of the tonsillectomy, nasal polyps, very frequent respiratory infections and abnormalities of the facial structure.
Each patient is treated individually and the appropriate treatment is applied.
