Running children

Early symptoms of childhood cancer are extremely difficult to "spot" mainly because most of them are non-specific and do not give any indication that something is wrong with the child's body. Mostly noticed by parents is fatigue, apathy or excessive activity, which seems to result in pain in the limbs. However, if these symptoms persist for a long time or are recurrent, accompanied by an elevated temperature, enlarged lymph nodes or bleeding from the mucous membranes, it is advisable to seek specialist medical advice.
