In your youth you went to summer camps many times. There you met a bunch of wonderful people, your first love. You learned to live independently. Over a period of three weeks, it was these people who built an incredible bond with you. You have a lot in common and, even though years have passed, you still remember each other.
A generational reunion? Why not. Colleagues from the colony now live in different places, with their husbands and wives. Everyone has their own destination and path. They also have childhood memories, the most beautiful ones of holidays spent together.
So how do we get everyone together in one place? Start by renewing contacts. Let your friends know about the idea of a meeting and set a date. Then, once you have several people's declarations, choose a venue (if possible in a place where everyone can come).
The most important thing is the time; we have to adjust it accordingly. Everyone should be able to get to and from the meeting without any problems.
Once the big day arrives, each of us will make herself divine and go full of joy to see her friends. It's amazing how people change over the years. Yet, the youthful joy remains in each of us.
At the reunion, we exchange photos and reminisce about the good old days. It is a very good way to renew acquaintances. As befits this type of event, there are pros and cons. The pluses are, above all, having fun and renewing old acquaintances. The downside? A jealous wife or husband of the "colonist" or a wrong venue or a headache the next day. But despite everything, it is worth it.
