Beautiful and smooth skin is everyone's dream. Unfortunately, often as a result of acne or an accident, unsightly scars form on the skin. The problem of scars is particularly unpleasant for women, especially when they are located on the face. Here are some home remedies to get rid of scars.
Ascar is a natural way for the skin to heal. Their appearance (shape, as well as size) is influenced by the body's individual regenerative capacity and the occurrence of inflammatory changes during the wound healing process and the subsequent formation of a scar in that area.
The most popular and effective methods of scar removal are laser therapy, laser dermabrasion and mesotherapy. However, you can try home remedies to combat unwanted scars.
Important! It is important to remember that scars can never be removed completely. You can only reduce their visibility.
Scar rolling
The therapy involves the use of a derma roller - a roller with needles that 'massage' the skin. Devices of different sizes and number of needles are available commercially. It is a good idea to use moisturising oil (e.g. coconut, lavender) before application.
Oils and other products
- coconut oil: contains fatty acids and antioxidants that fight free radicals, protecting skin cells and reducing their damage. Coconut oil moisturises the skin very well and also contributes to collagen production (resulting in smoother skin),
- lavender oil: nourishes the skin cells, thus contributing to their regeneration,
- aloe vera: moisturises the skin and helps to eliminate inflammation,
- green tea oil : not only improves the condition of the skin, but also treats inflammation, increases elasticity and has antibacterial properties. Great for skin renewal,
- apple cider vinegar: the acids it contains help to cleanse the skin and get rid of dead skin. Using apple cider vinegar for a longer period of time will definitely make scars less visible,
- tamanu oil: is characterised by its healing properties. It also fights free radicals, regenerates the skin and effectively reduces the visibility of scars. The main components of the oil are calcofillic acid and callafilloidin, which are flavonoids with anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antibiotic effects, among others,
- vitamin E: is known for its nourishing and regenerative properties. It should be applied directly to the scar and massaged.
Diet
In the fight against scars, you can also benefit from cleansing the body by fasting with fruit and vegetables. This type of therapy cleanses and improves the body.
