The number of people requiring psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assistance in the broad sense is systematically increasing. However, the conditions of treatment and the resources allocated to it are still at an insufficient level. Therefore, the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology has developed the National Programme for Mental Health Protection.
