We already know a lot about diabetes - for example, it is known that type 1 diabetes is mainly associated with insulin deficiency and type 2 diabetes is mainly associated with insulin resistance. However, we still do not know everything - among other things, neonatal diabetes remains quite mysterious. New information on this form of carbohydrate metabolism disorder is provided by specialists from the University of Helsinki.
