Although it is difficult to identify clear cause-and-effect relationships, it appears that there may be a correlation between socioeconomic factors and the incidence of the aforementioned cancer type. The Americans studied around 17,500 men from various continents, with varying degrees of wealth, whether in a relationship or not. It was shown that the most common sufferers of the disease were ... white, married men from the north-east of the globe.

At the same time, none of the aforementioned factors were related to whether the patient relapsed. It was also noted that, by far, men born around the Western Pacific, the Northeast and the Central West were the longest survivors.
