Sexual behaviour in sleep (SBS) has been reported in the scientific literature since 1996. They are classified as a subtype of parasomnia (sexsomnia). While most people have heard of the possibility of sleep walking ('sleepwalking', sleepwalking, somnambulism), there is very limited awareness of sexsomnia.
