Passive smoking

A total ban on smoking in restaurants and inns has been in force in the Czech Republic for a year. However, there are still voices of opponents who want to relax the new regulations, as well as people who are happy with them. As statistics show, the ban has had a positive impact on citizens' health, as the number of people hospitalised for smoking-related illnesses has decreased. This decrease is particularly evident in people under the age of 60.
