Researchers from Olomouc and Brno in the Czech Republic have mapped the incidence of four lesser-known tick-borne infections that can threaten the health and even the lives of immunocompromised people. The result of several years of research is maps showing the intensity of tick pathogens: anaplasma, rickettsia, neoehrlichia and babesia. This will help in the prevention and diagnosis of diseases.
