Melanoma is recognised as one of the most dangerous cancers and, mainly for this reason, methods of effectively treating it are still being sought. A few years ago, in 2015, the US FDA approved a preparation with a genetically modified HSV virus for the treatment of melanoma. The efficacy of such a therapeutic method was evaluated by specialists from several US research centres.
