Telemedicine, as a field of medical care, is designed to support the therapeutic process. It is often confused with non-medical services, but it is fully a medical care service - in an individualised and coordinated manner using ICT. Many fields are already using this type of solution, including dermatology. Both doctors and patients can benefit from this, but the risks it entails must also be taken into account.
