Gliomas are categorised as tumours arising from glial cells in the brain and medulla. They are mostly found in children. They do not occur frequently. They grow in the hemispheres of the brain (most often in the frontal and temporal areas). Malignant gliomas pose a direct threat to the patient's health and life. What do we know new about gliomas?
