The new service, which has just been launched at the capital's orthopaedics and sports medicine clinic Carolina Medical Center, is an extension of the trauma and orthopaedic outpatient clinic already in operation year-round. A professional medical and physiotherapy team, dedicated to the prevention and treatment of sports injuries, is available 24/7
week.

The new trauma outpatient clinic at Carolina Medical Center was established for patients who, during the difficult winter season, often seek help for injuries such as fractures, contusions, dislocations or sprains. Those in need of immediate intervention and treatment will be consulted by a doctor and will have the opportunity for rapid imaging diagnostic tests, e.g. radiology, ultrasound, as well as MRI and CT scans.

Consultations at the winter outpatient clinic are chargeable.
