It's worth finding out what household habits we should change to protect our planet and make it beautiful for future generations.

Reduce water consumption

Controlling the water we use will not only allow us to live green, but will also have a positive impact on the household budget. That's why we should fix all leaky taps and leaking valves as a priority.

It is worth knowing that if we eliminate a leaky tap from which only a drop of water flows every three seconds, we will save 1 700 litres of water a year. Another saving will come from taking a short shower instead of a bath full of water. In the course of five minutes in the shower, we use around 50 litres of water, whereas in a bath we use around 120 litres.

Use ecological products

Organic products are not only environmentally friendly, they are also good for our health. It is a common misconception that only foodstuffs or cosmetics can be organic. However, if we want to live in harmony with nature, we should also think about using ecological cleaning products at home, such as the ecological product line Green Vision.

Not only are they more environmentally friendly than their traditional counterparts, but they are also much gentler on your health. Products such as Green Vision do not cause allergies and sensitisations and, above all, are just as effective as traditional detergents.

Dispose of batteries

Used batteries that end up in a traditional landfill are a danger to the environment, as they contain harmful substances such as lead, mercury and cadmium. Remember that just one battery can contaminate soil and water.

Therefore, we should dispose of each battery properly. For example, we can put them in special containers located, for example, in some supermarkets or public institutions.

Use eco-friendly bags

According to experts, plastic carrier bags which, once used, are thrown away straight into the rubbish bin can take up to several hundred years to decompose. So it is best to take eco-friendly, reusable bags with you when you leave the house for shopping.
