Coloured hair

The hairdresser is even often compared to a kind of therapist who not only listens to our problems, but also gives advice. When such practices become too frequent, there may soon be nothing left to cut. That is why it is worth thinking about a colour change.

It is becoming increasingly rare to find a woman with natural hair colour. For many reasons, women are increasingly opting for colouring. Why? Firstly, it is the best way to cover the emerging grey hair. In this way, a woman wants to prolong her youthful and attractive appearance. The second reason is dissatisfaction with one's own colour. It is too light, too dark or too bland.... Sometimes colouring is a way to make a metamorphosis. Most often when there is a need for a radical change in our lives.

We have a wide choice of brands, colours and types of paint on the market. This is why deciding on the right paint is not at all easy. First of all, we need to consider what type of colouring we prefer. If we only want to make a trial, we can opt for non-permanent means, among them: shampoos, foams, gels and sprays. The new colour will last for up to a few washes. The next way is semi-permanent colouring, which does not damage the hair structure, but has to be repeated after about a month. Permanent dyes are the most common choice. This is the most serious interference with the natural colour and therefore carries the greatest risk of damaging the hair.

The colour itself is also a difficult choice. It needs to be matched not only to the natural colour, but also to the type of beauty. If dark hair is to become lighter as a result, bleaching agents must be used before colouring. Skin and eye colour plays an important role. For pale skin, colours that are too dark are not recommended so as not to emphasise the contrast. On the other hand, people with a dark complexion and brown or green eyes may look unfavourable in blonde shades.
