- Madzia please speak up, say something to me - for the next two hours still the same request.
It all started like this: a problem arose, a trifle that could be forgotten in five minutes, it was enough to explain the matter, but I couldn't say a word, I remained silent as if under a spell. Do you think I did not know what to say? On the contrary, the answer kept going round and round in my head, but I knew that if I said a single word, I would end up crying, so I kept silent.
We are perceived as rude, selfish, conflicts arise and our circle of friends gradually narrows. Personally, I wouldn't want to have an employer, husband or friend who doesn't listen to me when difficulties arise, so not listening carefully to the other party can have disastrous consequences! The same results can come from not talking, or not talking honestly. In children, the result can be an inability to talk in adulthood, a closing in on oneself, so you could say crippling; in marriage, it can result in growing disagreements, frigid feelings, less and less physical contact, in simple terms, the breakdown of the marriage; and at work, it usually leads to dismissal.
I would also like to raise the issue of the right choice of words. Words can be as sharp as a double-edged sword, or as soft as silk and as sweet as honey. It is only up to us which words we use. We can use words that are gentle and kind in any situation; of course, this is sometimes challenging, but it brings amazing results! How important it is for our words to be like a band-aid on wounds, and not a knife that makes them worse! It only remains for me to make the following request: Dear reader, do not forget to exchange your thoughts kindly and gently, but sincerely!
