Those mentioned are some of the traits presented by patients with anankastic personality disorder. This type of personality disorder is quite difficult to deal with, as it significantly affects the day-to-day functioning of the patient experiencing it, while at the same time such a person is unlikely to notice the existence of any problems in themselves. However, the environment of the person with anankastic personality disorder, for whom it may not be easy to function with it, may claim otherwise.
