Holidays are a time of carefree and relaxation. Sometimes, however, it is during this period that many worries arise, for example about planning a holiday.

Mode of transport

This is another issue to consider and discuss before leaving. Every journey is tiring, especially if it is very long. Here, too, we can rely on the help of a doctor to identify the optimal solution.

It is known that for each type of disability, a different option will be applicable. Once we have made our choice, let's try to make the journey as comfortable as possible.

If possible, take breaks (e.g. while driving). Another good option is to divide the journey into several stages to allow for overnight stays during the journey.

Safety

As long as you feel up to it, you can decide to travel alone. However, remember to ask your doctor about this! Nevertheless, a holiday with a loved one always provides much more pleasure.

Besides, the person accompanying you can always provide assistance if needed. When you prefer to travel alone, remember to let your loved ones know where you will be staying and for how long. This is important information in case of any unfortunate accidents.
