Children diagnosed with autism spectrum and ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are more likely to receive diagnoses of additional disorders, such as developmental delays or anxiety and depressive disorders, than children diagnosed with ADHD or autism spectrum only. These were the conclusions reached by US researchers, analysing data from a national survey on a database of more than 6 million children.
