The self-perception of economically active people clearly depends on the degree of threat of job loss. The higher it was, the more respondents often or very often experienced negative emotions in the past year, the less positive emotions. Only in the group of respondents with a full sense of job security did positive emotions (44%) dominate over negative emotions (24%). On the other hand, a definite predominance of negative feelings (49%) over positive ones (25%) was recorded among those who very seriously reckon with the possibility of losing their job.
It is worth noting that in 2002, those most at risk of losing their jobs had worse feelings than the unemployed.
