There are many different varieties of rice in the shops. Most of us eat white rice, but it is worth considering which is the healthiest for our bodies.
It has been clearly shown through research and observation that wild rice is the healthiest variety and is also the darkest. Importantly, it aids digestion, has a low glycaemic index (recommended for diabetics) and contains around four times more fibre than white rice. Unfortunately, it is not recommended for people who have digestive or digestive problems. It is also worth mentioning brown rice, which is a source of valuable vitamins such as K, B1, B6, E, zinc, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. It is also a source of iron, calcium and riboflavin.
If you decide to eat rice, it is worth investing in one that is healthy for you.
