Nail filing

In my previous article, I wrote that the proper health of your nails is influenced by your overall health, and that it is best to take care of them from the inside out through a diet rich in vitamins and micronutrients.

Repeated contact with water, detergents as well as the nature of work also determine how our nail plate will look.

In order to prevent its separation, excessive brittleness and fragility, protective gloves should be used, which protect against contact with water, detergents, as well as against mechanical injuries that cause its deformation. Properly selected footwear does not cause leg fatigue, corns, varicose veins and, above all, does not promote ingrown toenails. Therefore, comfortable shoes should be used.

Toenail care, or so-called pedicure, is performed every 4-6 weeks, depending on the need. The nails are first soaked in soapy water and then cut, but not too deep in order to avoid ingrown nails. The rapid buildup of new cuticle in the toenails is caused by frequent clipping, so it is better to remove this cuticle with a pumice stone while bathing.

In conclusion, in order to keep our nails healthy, beautiful and strong, we must remember to eat a daily diet rich in vitamins, especially vitamins A, B, E and C, microelements. We should eat a lot of vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products because they contain all the ingredients necessary for the proper growth and development of nails. Daily care and hygiene will strengthen the external effect of our efforts. It is also important to keep an eye on your nails. All this will make them look beautiful, healthy and become our business card.
