Recent scientific reports, show that the consumption of adequate amounts of caffeine, leads to better adaptation to stressful situations, but also when combating stress.
The first studies were conducted on animal material to test whether caffeine reduces the effects of stress on the brain. It was shown that animals given caffeine to drink were more resistant to different types of stressful situations. Studies in humans have shown that this alkaloid has a significant effect on improving human mood and, importantly, helping to reduce depression. Importantly, memory was improved in these patients. Due to differences in brain structure between mice and humans, further studies and observations are necessary.
